Andrea Seelenfreund Hirsch

Doctora en Arqueología con especialización en la arqueología de Rapa Nui (Isla de Pascua). Sus intereses han estado ligados a la comprensión y estudio de la movilidad humana, colonización de islas en el pasado y presente. Ha desarrollado varios proyectos de investigación para estudiar las interacciones prehistóricas entre poblaciones a través de enfoques interdisciplinares en los cuales ha aplicado la biología molecular o técnicas arqueométricos a estas problemáticas. Su otro foco de interés son los estudios etnobotánicos y arqueobotánicos.
